In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has come up with creative solutions to all the problems from their orogin Below are some of the latest developments in the education policy-

1. Expansion of educational infrastructure

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s work years  have resulted in rapid improvement be it any sector from education to health. The present government expend a large sum of money in upgrading schools under the Operation Kayakalp initiative.

As a result, 96 per cent of basic schools have been modernized, and furnished with basic facilities like smart classrooms, laboratories, and enhanced sanitation facilities. This initiative has not only enhanced the education environment but also lured more students to enroll.

2. Establishment of Atal Residential Schools

Among the long list of government schemes in Uttar Pradesh to improve the level of education in the state, the flagship yojana which is the Atal Residential Schools has delivered the most promising results when it comes to primary education in UP. The purpose of these schools is to provide quality education to children of workers and underprivileged communities.

18 schools in each division have been founded to present a facilitative education environment with current amenities and a focus on the all around development. These schools are going to evolve as the centres of academic excellence, for people coming from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

3. Strengthening teacher recruitment and training

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission assures that a fair and transparent selection process is maintained across the state which appraises candidates using different parameters such as written examination and interview. This makes the quality of education delivered across the state uniform and equitable.

4. Integrating technology and education

Apart from so many other schemes the new education policy in uttar pradesh has focused majorly on the integration of technology in education through initiatives like the PM Shri School Yojana anf many more. The main aim  of this yojana is to modernise schools with digital infrastructure, provide tablets to principals, and promote smart classrooms.

5. Inclusive policies like School Chalo Abhiyan for student welfare

Initiatives such as the School Chalo Abhiyan have immesely helped in increasing the enrollment in schools by 40 lakh children, targeting dropouts and ensuring that students have ubiquitous access to education. 

Additionally, the government is committed to providing financial assistance to the parents of school-going children through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for various school essentials like uniforms, books, and stationery has lifted off the economical burden on parents to encourage equitable access to education for all.
